The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway, set in the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside. Running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol, the line passes the delightful Dolgoch Falls and there are excellent forest walks at Nant Gwernol.

Welcome to Dovey Yacht Club. If you are a Member we hope you will find these pages useful as a way of keeping in touch.Visitors are most welcome to Dovey Yacht Club. Membership application forms can be downloaded as a pdf document and are also available at the Clubhouse. If you are visiting Aberdovey for a short period you can take out a temporary membership. 

We have plenty to offer both dinghy sailors and cruisers.

We have a super junior fleet sailing mostly topper dinghies.

Racing dinghy fleets include Lasers, GP14′s, Solos, Fun Lasers and Toppers.

The Aberdyfi Rowing Club are affiliated to us.

On shore we are proud of our club facilities. We have changing rooms with hot showers, a food galley and upstairs is the main lounge, balcony and bar with a magnificent view of the Dovey Estuary.

Bwlchgwyn Pony Trekking

Bwlchgwyn Farm Pony Trekking Centre is a family run business, established in 1957. Bwlchgwyn has a good selection of horses and ponies suitable for persons of all ages and abilities. Our Trekking Centre offers one or two hourly treks each day to meet all customer needs. Experienced, friendly and competant staff accompany all the treks. Non riders as well as experienced riders are very welcome as no previous experience is necessary. Safety hats are provided free of charge and are up to date with the British and European standards
